POPE LEO XIV and KING CHARLES III are making history after 500 years of religious divorce between Vatican Catholicism, and Canterbury Anglicanism – the head of the Church of England (King Charles) has undertaken a pilgrimage to worship with the head of the Church of Rome (Pope Leo XIV). Thus ironically ending the historic falling out between Pope Leo X and Martin Luther in 1521, and the papacy and King Henry VIII in 1534, thus signifying a symbolic reunion for the two branches of western Christianity.
